The Cybernetics factory's on Calvorad can trace their origins to when early tech-savants of that age experimented with artificial life. Ever curious, those early pioneers not only constructed vast hosts of war-capable automatons but also granted these creations the gift of independent thought and artificial life. That decision cost them, and the rest of their planet dearly. After the terrible consequences of those times which resulted in The Great Machine Revolt, The concept of a sentient machine was outlawed, & Its creators were subjected to torture to the point of death. Yet some still yearn to walk in their shadow, to perfect a thinking machine.
